Beta characters keep their basic utility skills while gliding (but i am pretty sure that you can't use them). Because of this the beta characters cant use the special gliding utility skills either (like gaining extra height). Edited June 29 by GODh.3892 typo
Posted June 29 (edited) I'm not sure if this was an oversight, but there are no jade bot cores being offered to the beta characters for this weekend's beta test. Which means no beta characters can use ziplines in any of the EoD maps. It's definitely an inconvenience on some of the maps. And it means the only way to get one is if you have a

Have they said the turtles will only be available to beta characters? Some of the text could imply that. It would make sense, under the same principle as the beta characters themselves. If so, though, it’ll mean I won’t use the turtle very much. With limited play time, I don’t enjoy playing very long with any progress evaporating afterward.
Try going to the Guild Wars 1 website and sending your username/password to a known email address and then use that to log into the GW2 forums/beta If you set up your beta key by following the instructions im pretty sure that it has you link the two accounts but then still makes you use the old account instead of the new one. 5ihIpzl.
