psimwork. • 1 yr. ago. There's so many incorrect terms here. Basically every panel on the market is LCD. LED is the backlight type that gets put behind the LCD panel. IPS is a type of LCD panel. The chances of having an LCD panel at this point (especially a more expensive IPS type) that does not have an LED backlight is extremely unlikely.
