The saved data put me back to Level 3 (from 275). I have just purchased a Scania S 730hp and added accessories.

Today, again, I got fined for not having the truck headlights on. It was 19:30. The sun was clearly still above the horizon and it was definitely not dark. This offence needs to be tweaked or removed completely. I try to avoid using the headlights as long as possible because of the fps hit. I mentioned in the past that the same offence applies

And so you know (because I fell in to this one) you use "k" to toggle the brights. =p So for your normal lights, it's 'l' for marker/running lights, headlights, off; and you use 'k' to turn on the brights, which works whether the regular lights are on or not. =p. Depending on where you are, AI may always have their headlights on, as it's the law. #2. The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic. Briannospam Jan 7, 2021 @ 3:21am. As others have already answered, it's not in all countries the ai's run with lights on during the day.
There is also a "bug" in the game where the AI will have their lights on in bright daylight with no clouds overhead. The devs are aware of this and don't consider it a bug since different countries have different lighting rules, but for most people it is distracting since we usually associate lights with bad weather, or night driving.
