IGN gives its review of the game Might & Magic Heroes 6. The return of the long-running fantasy strategy series is here, but does it satisfy new and old fans
Might & Magic Heroes 7 manages to scratch a very old PC gaming itch, at least between the awful cutscenes and performance problems.
Tier One: Assassin vs Stalker. The Stalker gives up being able to attack at range in exchange for slightly better stats, so the Assassin is generally better. Or at least, it would be, if it weren't for the Stalker's special ability. Three turns of Invisibility is just absolutely broken, allowing the hero to just blast away with impunity.
For other uses, see Gating. Gating is the the class-specific skill for the Demon Lord of the Inferno in Heroes of Might and Magic V. Gating grants the hero's creatures an ability to gate into the infernal plane to bring reinforcements back to the battlefield. Each unit can gate only once per combat spending 50% of its current initiative. The creatures will disappear after the end of the combat I know that Might & Magic Heroes 7 was not well received and it had many flaws, bugs and bad AI but Im surprised that not alot of people are aware of the huge 7.5 Ultimate modification. It basically not only fixes what was wrong with the original (including improved AI and fixing tons of bugs) but also adds 5 new factions and much more content.
